The Lorin A. Burt Award is conferred annually by the ISBA to an educator for "overall excellence in contributions to Indiana education." The award memorializes Dr. Lorin A. Burt, who led the Indiana School Boards Association from 1960 until his death in 1967.
The Outstanding Board Service Award is given annually by ISBA to a school board member who exemplifies the best attributes of effective governance.
The Distinguished Service Award honors individuals for significant long-term accomplishments on behalf of public education in the State of Indiana.
The Champions of K-12 Education Award celebrates individuals and organizations who have positively impacted public education through their advocacy efforts at the federal, state, or local level.
