Legislative Communications
The Association keeps school board members informed about legislative issues via weekly email updates sent every Friday while the General Assembly is in session. ISBA also provides a weekly video of the top three things to know.
Grassroots Engagement
The ISBA has organized a grassroots legislative program to unite school boards in advocacy that positively shapes the outcome of education issues at the Statehouse. Speaking with one voice will dramatically increase our influence with the legislature. Advocacy training materials are provided
to help guide school board members and legislative liaisons as they engage on behalf on their local districts and the state.
